Carolyn Mazuca is a Texas born and Los Angeles based Costume Designer. Her work for Stage and Screen is inspired by her love of character development, her fine arts background, and her family’s generational history in the arts.

Carolyn’s designs have most recently decorated the theatrical production, La Havana Madrid, at San Juan Capistrano with South Coast Repertory and film, Body Language, filmed in Duluth, MN. Other recent works include theatrical productions Kiss of The Spider Woman at A Noise Within and Native Gardens at Dallas Theatre Center, and TV show Spring Baking Championship Season 10 (airing spring 2024).

She is the Costume Designer for the upcoming theatrical productions of The Winters Tale at Antaeus Theatre Co and I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter at Greenway Court Theatre.

She is the Costume Designer of films Body Language, Merry Kiss Cam, What? and Daedalus (Short).

Carolyn is an active member of the IATSE Costume Designers Guild 892. She worked as an Assistant Costume Designer on union productions Perry Mason Season 2 and The L Word: Generation Q Season 2. She is a Co-Chair of the Guild’s New Members Committee.

Carolyn earned her BFA in Costume Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
